ASUU Strike Update: Lecturers to meet on Monday to vote on ending the strike
The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) will hold a referendum on Monday where lecturers will deliberate on the outcome of the meeting with President Jonathan and ASUU leadership.
The lecturers are expected to vote on whether to continue with the strike action or return to lecture halls.
Invitations have reportedly been sent out by the local chapters of ASUU to their members seeking their attendance in order for them to participate in the important meeting that bears on the destinies of tertiary students who have been out of school for the past five months.
Since the 13 hour marathon meeting ASUU had with President Jonathan earlier this week, it has been expected that the leadership of the Union would soon call of the strike.

Tragic: Beautiful Girl Dies After Sleeping With Alhaji And His Monkey
Somewhere last month, a lady by name Cynthia, as we gathered, was picked up by an Alhaji, and after they had fun, he took her to his guest house, and gave her $2000 to suck and sleep with his monkey. She refused at first but after looking at the money again, she concurred.
After the ordeal the alhaji went to drop her and drove off and few hours later she started complaining of stomach ache, she thought it was a normal thing, but from the few things we gathered from the source, fews hours later, maggots started coming out from her private parts; her friend tried to rush her to the hospital but it was too late.She died before they could do anything.

75-Yr-Old Man Commits Suicide Over Seizure Of Buses
RESIDENTS
of Oke-Ayepe, Onward Estate in Osogbo Local Government Area of Osun
State were, yesterday, thrown into mourning when a 75- year-old
grandfather, Pa Adisa Hassan, allegedly
committed suicide in the storeroom of his house.
The deceased popularly known as Baba Tawa, who operated three buses for his inter-city transport business was said to have hanged himself around 5.00a.m. after officers of the Vehicle Inspection
Officials (VIO) seized two of his three buses.
Eye-witness accounts revealed that Pa Hassan woke up alongside his family members around 5.00a.m. to observe their usual morning prayer (Subri) but
changed his mind on his way to the mosque situated opposite his house and went into his store room and took his life.
When journalists visited the scene of the incident, yesterday, family members and residents of the area were seen wailing even as some of his associates were discussing the mystery surrounding the
tragedy.
Also, a team of officers from the Disaster and Emergency Management Unit of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) was drafted to the scene to maintain order.
Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC, Mr. Ayo Olowe, revealed that a resident of
the area had hinted officers at the command, which is a stone-throw from the residence of Pa Hassan before a team of officers was drafted to the area.
