SHOCKING: How Imo man killed his mother, hid her body for 10 years (GRAPHIC PHOTO)

Dr. Chimezie Osigwe, 64, is a  retired school principal of Awa Community Secondary School, Ejemekwuru in Oguta local government area of Imo State. He not only allegedly killed his mother, he was said to have also dried her remains and stored them in a cupboard in a room that  allegedly served as his shrine!
The 78-year old mother, Mrs. Lucy Osigwe, reportedly went missing sometime in 2003, some 10 years ago! There was no clue whatsoever about her where-abouts.
Dr. Osigwe lived in a dilapidated house. He had no fleet of cars and estates. Some members of his Ejemekwuru community said he was a recluse. Nobody understood his ways. Everything surrounding him suggested abject poverty!
Two stories were told about how the remains of his allegedly missing mother were found. One of the stories had it that a  relation of the man was not particularly happy that Osigwe was reluctant to settle his indebtedness to him and decided to search his house to help himself with whatever he  could lay his hands on.

The late Lucy Osigwe’s body inside cupboard
But instead of finding cash, the young boy allegedly stumbled on the old woman’s remains and  narrated the story to other relations who then  mobilized and stormed Osigwe’s shrine where the boy’s story was  allegedly confirmed.
The other story had it that some youths from feelers from the late woman’s maternal home, Amakohia, Awa, also in Oguta local council area, showed that they made the startling discovery.
A villager, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard, said that following the inexplicable disappearance of the old woman, some villagers decided to double check the  stories told by Osigwe.
“On getting to Ejemekwuru, our people demanded to know why the woman had remained missing for 10 years. the son told the villagers that his mother was mad at a point and ran away to an unknown place”, the villager recounted.
Not satisfied with the response, as well as the non-chalant attitude allegedly exhibited by the  son, the villagers, according to the villager, went berserk, destroying things in sight and ended up spotting the large cupboard containing the remains of their loved one.
“With this startling discovery, the villagers quickly lodged a complaint with the police who subsequently swung into action”, he stated.
The suspect, Dr Chimezie Osigwe
Confirming the discovery of the woman’s body, Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Katsina, said it was found in a large cupboard inside the shrine located in the suspect’s  private room.
“The missing woman’s lifeless body was found in a village called Ezuru Umuagwu, Ejemekwuru, Oguta local government area of Imo State”, the CP said.
“The corpse of the 78-year-old Mrs. Osigweh, declared missing in 2003, was found in a large cupboard inside the shrine in  a private room in a circumstance depicting ritual practice. “The embalmed body, which was kept in that condition for about 10 years, was  alleged  to have been placed in the warehouse by her son, Chief Dr. Chimezie Osigweh, a 64-year old retired school principal”.
The Imo police boss alleged that the suspect was a member of a sect, adding that “preliminary assessment of the scene of crime revealed that the late woman  could  have been murdered for ritual purpose”.
Katsina also alleged that members of a sect used to hold secret nocturnal meetings in the place to enhance their occultic powers.
“The principal suspect, Chief Dr. Chimezie Osigwe, who is the son of the woman, has been arrested and is making useful statement to the police”, the CP said.
The suspect  refused to disclose why he treated his mother disrespectfully for ten years. He rather pleaded that he should not be forced to say anything for fear of being attacked by his  enemies.
“Do you know that I have escaped three assassination attempts? Please, I will not say anything because my enemies are all over the place so that they will not use it to attack me”, Osigwe told journalists.
Irked by the adverse image created by criminal stories from Imo State in recent times, royal fathers from the state rose from an emergency meeting in Owerri, condemning the factory baby saga and Osigwe for allegedly killing his mother for ritual purposes.
The traditional fathers also ordered the banishing of the alleged perpetrators from their ancestral homes. Rolling out the decisions of the royal fathers at the secretariat of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, the Chairman, Eze Sam Agunwa Ohiri, explained that they took the decision in view of the shame the two incidents  brought to the state and its people.

Televangelist Pat Robertson says all men have a tendency to cheat

83 year old televangelist and media mogul Pat Robertson says that all men have a tendency to cheat and it's a wife’s duty is to keep her man faithful, by focusing on the positive and making sure the home is so enticing he doesn’t want to stray. Robertson said this while responding to a question from a viewer who wrote:
“I’ve been trying to forgive my husband for cheating on me. We have gone to counseling, but I just can’t seem to forgive, nor can I trust. How do you let go of the anger? How do you trust again?"
Below is Pat Robertson's reply...
“Here’s the secret. Stop talking the cheating. He cheated on you, well, he’s a man. You need to focus on the reasons you married him. Does he provide a home for you to live in? Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children… Is he handsome?”
What? So if he does all this then it's OK for him to cheat? See what else he said after the cut...

“Recognize also, like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit. What you want to do is make a home so wonderful that he doesn’t want to wander, or give in to the “salacious” magazine pictures and Internet filled with adult films.

Bill Gates retakes World’s Richest Title from Carlos Slim

Bill Gates became the world's richest person today, the first time he has held the title since 2007. His fortune was valued at $72.7 billion at 4 p.m. in New York, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires
Index. Gates, 57, was more than $550 million ahead of Carlos Slim, who has a $72.1 billion net worth. The co-founder of Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has seen his fortune climb about $10 billion this year. The software maker's shares hit a five-year high today, and have advanced 28 percent year-to-date.
Slim's fortune has dropped more than $2 billion this year as Mexico's Congress passed a bill to quash the market dominance of the 73-year-old billionaire's America Movil SAB.
"When they're talking about reform in a country that's generally poor, and the guy shows up No. 1 on the list — not a good thing," said Greg Lesko, managing director at New York-based Deltec Asset Management LLC, which oversees $750 million and has an "underweight" position in Slim's flagship company. "He's had a pretty good monopoly situation in Mexico, and the Mexican cellphone user has been paying more than he should. We applaud it for the country."

Earlier this month, a group of kazoo-playing protesters confronted Slim when he appeared at an event at the New York Public Library, denouncing him for overcharging consumers to enrich himself. He denies the accusation.

The bill passed by Mexico's Congress last month, which is backed by President Enrique Pena Nieto and is now before state legislatures, would allow regulators to break up phone companies with more than 50 percent of the market or force them to share their networks. America Movil (AMXL) has 70 percent of Mexico's mobile-phone subscribers and 80 percent of the country's landlines.
Gates's fortune has also benefited from a rally in stock holdings that include the Canadian National Railway Co. and waste-collection company Republic Services Inc (RSG). Most of Gates's fortune is held through Cascade Investment LLC, a holding entity through which he owns stakes in more than a dozen publicly traded companies and several closely held operations, including Four Seasons hotels and Corbis Corp. Less than a quarter of Gates's fortune is held in Microsoft. He's donated $28 billion to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bacon Restaurant Forced To Close Because Of Smell

The Upper Haight smells like a lot of things. On any given day, the aroma of marijuana smoke, Muni exhaust, various forms of human waste and any combination thereof inevitably wafts through the air, repelling residents and tourists alike.
But the biggest offender, according to a group of neighborhood activists, isn’t drug or excrement related. It’s bacon. Sizzling, crispy, fresh-off-the-fryer bacon.
Bacon Bacon restaurant, the brick and mortar outpost of the cult-followed food truck with the same name, shut down Friday after a barrage of complaints about the smell.
According to unhappy neighbors, the “porcine aroma” was too much to endure and proprietors illegally dumped excess grease in the sewers. When authorities responded, they discovered the small eatery, located on the corner of Frederick and Ashbury streets, lacked the proper health permits to continue operating.
Bacon Bacon’s avid fans have already begun fighting back, launching a petition and airing their grievances on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
“I’m one of Bacon Bacon’s neighbors and I believe I speak for 99% of the neighborhood when I say: ‘Stay HERE,’” Facebook user Lucia Tallchief Mele said in a comment. “Don’t let a coupla nasty nay-sayers or clueless bureaucrats deprive you of your livelihood! We will fight for you!”
Meanwhile, the Bacon Bacon food truck will continue to appear at various Off the Grid events throughout the city.

 BABY MAKING VICTIMS.

A baby delivery syndicate was recently unearthed by the Police and a key suspect arrested and paraded in Lagos, alongside two other women who were believed to have paid certain sums of money respectively, to be delivered of babies.

Forty three years old Joy Ibe who lives at Ajah area of Lagos, said she has been married for 18 years without any issues, a dilemma that prompted her to run up and down seeking for fruit of the womb, until she came in contact with a Port Harcourt based 50- year old woman identified as Oby George, who was noted for helping women deliver babies after paying an agreed amount of money to her.
Joy told news men how she met Oby, and what followed after that:  “one of my neighbours visited Nigeria and heard about Oby, after she travelled back to the Unites States, she text me Obi’s number and  asked me to contact her if I am interested.
I called up Oby and told her my problems, she gave me her address to come and meet her in Port-Harcourt. When I got to Port-Harcourt and met with her, she gave me some herbs which I took until it was time for me to deliver.  I paid her N2, 700.000 for triplets.
The only signs I have as a pregnant woman is my swollen tommy and legs which you can see, I still see my period sometimes.  I have not gone to the hospital for scan, because the instruction given to me was that the scan will not be able to identify the babies in the womb.
On the day I was arrested by the police, Obi had invited me to Port-Harcourt for check-up, so she could ascertain if I am due for delivery. I went and she checked me, after that she said I was not due, that I have to wait for a little longer.  But because it was late for me to travel back to Lagos that very day, she said I should pass the night at her house, I obliged, that was when the police came and arrested us.  From what I am seeing right now, I don’t believe that I am pregnant despite my swollen tommy and legs.
Another victim, a 61 years old woman  identified as  Cecilia Adesope who has not had issues before, told newsmen that  she was brought to Oby, by a woman still at large, who had told her Oby would be able to help her, she was asked to go to Port-harcourt for delivery, after she paid the sum of N1,500.000.
“When I got to Port-harcourt for delivery, which was after the pregnancy period, I was given something like a fish to chew, after I did, I felt like going to the toilet. When I got out of the toilet, I was asked to lie down and push with all my power, after that I heard cries of babies.  I also noticed some blood on my private part, and was given a pad to use.
I did not go to the hospital during the pregnancy period, because I was instructed not to do so, as the hospital scan will not see the babies.
How I was arrested: when I returned to Lagos with my set of twin babies, I decided to take them to the hospital for inoculation injections. The hospital management must have suspected that I did not really give birth to the babies, because as we were waiting for the injection, the police came and arrested me.
Oby George’s story:  The Port-Harcourt based 50-year old woman identified as the person that has been ‘helping women deliver children’ also gave her account of the part she played in Mama Cecilia Adesope’s case: “Cecilia was brought to me by one Mrs Okoro now at large, who has been treated, she pleaded with me to help her deliver a set of twin babies.  That all her life she has not had any child of her own, that she is desperate.
Mrs Okoro told me that we should use my apartment since her husband was around and she does not want him to know about this issue. So I agreed and the sum of N1, 500.000 was paid into my account for the job. On her due date, she travelled down to Port-Harcourt and we all went to my place. I gave her some herbs to chew after which she went to the toilet, she got out, we asked her to lie down and push with all her might while I held her hands. At a point, we used a razor blade to give her some tear so that blood will come out, and make the whole thing look real. Mrs Okoro then brought the babies, whom she had arranged from somwhere,  that was when Mama heard the cries of babies.
When asked how she met Mrs Okoro,  Obi told newsmen that she knows Mrs Okoro very well, as both of them work together in ‘helping women deliver’.
Oby who told newsmen she has been in this business for over a year said she could not remember the number of children she had helped women deliver.

Part of the text message read:  “It is true, we do not deserve amnesty. You’ll even be surprised how I got your number. We came to Shoprite on a mission to drop a bomb. That day, we sow bullet into Five Alive packs. We are from Niger. Someone gave us your number from Abuja. We will make sure we destroy every Shoprite…,”

We Will Protest Naked If Jonathan Doesn’t Re Contest In 2015 – Urhobo Youths

Youths of Urhobo extraction in Delta State under the aegis of the Urhobo Youths Leaders Forum have asked President Goodluck Jonathan to seek re-election in 2015.
President, Movement for the Advancement of Urhobo Nation, Mr. Rex Anigoro, said Jonathan was left with no option but to re-contest in 2015.

Anigoro said Urhobo youths would not hesitate to protest if Jonathan failed to contest.
He said, “We have come to stand in solidarity with the President; Jonathan is a very experienced leader, he is not an accidental leader. Some Urhobo elders visited the Arewa Consultative Forum, and I must say that it is their right to do so.

“However, we youths from various organisations wish to say that the Urhobo people are not enemies of Mr. President.

“I won’t say if he contests, rather I would say ‘when’ because he does not really have any choice here. And if he doesn’t contest, we will march naked in the streets to protest; and when he contests, will vote enmasse for him again as we did in the past.”

When Michael Jackson was alive, Wade Robson testified in his defense during his child molestation trial. Four years after his death, Wade is claiming he was sexually abused by Michael.

The popular Australian choreographer and former close friend of the late pop legend claimed last week that Michael Jackson sexually abused him from ages 7 through 14, when he regularly stayed at Neverland Ranch. He has filed a lawsuit against the Estate of Michael Jackson asking for compensation for years of abuse.

Wade appeared on the Today Show today and went into detail about his abuse. Wade told Matt Lauer:
"I've lived in silence and denial for 22 years and I can't spend another moment in that...."
"...Michael Jackson was yes, an incredibly talented artist with an incredible gift. He was many things. And he was also a pedophile and a child sexual abuser. He performed sexual acts on me and forced me to perform sexual acts on him."
Well, Michael isn't here to defend himself. And now he wants money? Hmmm. Who believes him?
